Sediment transport near sea port is one priority issue in the port's construction and development. The main force which cause sediment movement is tide and wave. In the past, two-dimensional numerical simulations model are used more often, and the two-dimensional models are developed better, relatively,the three-dimensional models are used seldom. In this article. a three-dimensional numerical model-Mohid is used to simulate the sediment movement under the effect of wave and wind taking QianWan Port,Qingdao as example.In this article, a comprehensive review of the wave, tide and sediment numerical models'development is given first of all,and then,led in the basic theory of numerical model Mohid.After that,a three-dimensional numerical simulation model model was built. In this three-dimensional model,the horizontal momentum equations are discretized by the finite volume and the finite difference method, and theσcoordinate is applied for vertical direction, so in the shallow water regions the terrain are well described.In this simulation,a two-dimensional tide-wave field was built first,then divide the tide-wave field into several layers and led the sediment model into the field.Based on the coupled model of the sediment and the tide-wave field.we got the numerical simulation of sediment transport under the effort of tide and wave. The processes of erosion and deposition on the sea bed are fully incorporated in the model, so the cohesive sediment transport patterns are revealed well,and the result of the numerical simulation is ideal. |
