With the rapid development of the construction of the railway network in China, the quantity and speed of the railroad through the seasonal frozen soil are constantly increase, and the harm caused by the railway-based settlement has become even more serious, though already it has attracted people's attention, the relevant studies have not been in-depth, in particular, there is no relevant reports about researching high railway-based from a point that quantify the seasonal frozen soil structure of viewTaking TJ-3 tender of high-speed rail line from Harbin to Dalian as an example, first of all, according to indoor routine soil test and micro-observation test of soil structure, and with the use of the strain energy and energy conversion theory, soil structure is quantified, and the evolution law that the soil structural parameters changes due to the load, pore ratio and settlement is discussed;Secondly, the role of soil freeze-thaw cycles from the freezed soil indoor soil micro-observations of melting process is realized, and according to the reason of large-scale freeze-thaw cycles tests and the evolution law that soil structure change due to settlement, it is found that the relationship between the value of structural parameter, and the relation curve between the freeze-thaw cycles times and axial strain, and that maximum settlement amount of soil due to the action of freeze-thaw cycles goes to 1mm,which has nothing to do with load size. It is proved that the thesis that quantify soil construction is the core to solve geotechnical engineering problems is correct.
