UAV is a power-driven, unmanned, reusable aircraft short. Because of the low cost, light weight, small size, adaptable and flexible features, UAV has been growing in various fields widely used in the military and the national economy, and it is highly valued by various countries around the world. As the core of UAV flight control system, Autopilot will be the key to UAV research.Thid paper designs and actualizes a UAV autopilot flight controller base on ARM on the basis of analysis of the UAV autopilot flight control theory and system component. Under the entire system constitute of the project, acquisition of the necessary flight parameters of the sensor modules is selected. It is based upon the requirement of sensor and systemic task. Completed Inertial measurement unit module, AD signal acquisition module, the pressure sensor module, UART and SPI serial signal communication module, PWM waveform generation module, JTAG debug modulethe, tested the sensor modules. Designed conversion control between remote control and autonomous flight mode and improve flight parameters, accomplish overall design of hardware of the flight control system and complete a printed circuit board production. Subsequently, develop driver and initialization of ARM bottom interface under ADS1.2 environment. Control system is connected and experiment for the basic functions of running of data acquisition and steering gear control. Finally, it expounds the autopilot control algorithm, based on the modeling of the uav, it calculates the relevant parameters. through various of PID algorithm, it uses intelligent control method PID algorithm.Experimental results show that the system can achieve the real-time data collection of the sensor modules and can control the steering gear at any point quickly; so it has laid a foundation of hardware for further study of UAV flight control.Anyhow, this topic designs hardware, software and the control method based on the theory of the autopilot. At last it gets the right results in the middle of the experimental, and it realize the design of the thought with very good practicability.
