To the vessels that have to work in the sea for a long time,and stay with a desired area,fuel consumption is one of the most concerned issue.In the pape~we research on weather optimal area control technology,which is aim al to reducethe fuel consumption,and decrease air pollution.Therefore,it'S very important intheory study and practice application to research on weather optimal area controltechnology.In the paper,there two steps mainly in this new type dynamic positioningtechnology.Firstly,using logical strategy find weather optimal heading,then based on the optimal heading tO predict tracking of the ship,and to hold it in one desired area.In view of the characteristic of multi—variahle and nonlinear,dynamic,supposing the vessel rotate a circle by a desired radius and mini—rate,we design a nonlinear adaptive law by back—stepping method.Then,ship can judge current position and find optimal heading automatically;Area controller getproperly control model and create dynamic controller by taking the multi-variableGPC control theory as the foundation,and choosing scroll—optimal strategy as thebasic principle,combining with three degree ship mathematics modelIn the pape~using three degree mathematic model as simulate model,by twomain simulate experiments,we get some experiment data to check up our weatheroptimal area controller....
