The Probe Of Evaluation Methods On The Landscape Design Program Of Residential Areas

The landscape design program for residential area affects not only the quality of actual landscape after its completion, but also the realization of comfy, cozy, and healthy home.Then the key to solve the problem is how to evaluate the design quality correctly and scientifically. At present, the existent evaluation are always subjective and sweeping, lacking of scientific criterion, such as the methods of "secret ballot", "expert score", "reviews", which can not meet the market demand. Therefore, the study of residential landscape design program evaluation methods has important theoretical and practical significance, for it can provide the oretical and technical support for the landscape design for residential areas.(1)The purpose of program evaluation is to coordinate the interests of all evaluation subjects to keep balance, and to meet their different needs. Our goal in this study is to make the social, economic and environmental benefits develop in harmony, considering the different demand of different subjects, such as the parties of usage, design, construction, investment, operation and management. Also in this study, we adopt the experts' suggestion combined with the classification standards for residential landscape to establish an evaluation index system for residential landscape design. We also introduce the ISM model to remove the coupled effect relationship between the two and three, also three and four, indicators in the evaluation index system, and confine their affiliation relations, and finally build the hierarchical multi-gradient model the index system, namely the ISM index system model. This model can cover different demands in the design, ultimately realize the relationship between goals, and comprehensively reflect the interest demand for all subjects.(2) Getting the index weight by the subjective evaluation method. Five experts are invited to make scale from 1 to 9 according to the index significance in Level Analysis Method, and then make scores for the index significance in ISM model. After the average count is made, the determinant matrixes at all levels can be established. Then the all index weight can be got by square-root method together with the consistency testing. Considered the characteristic of qualitative evaluation, the level and standard of index can be asserted by analyzing the design demand for different types of residential landscape. By introducing the uncertain comprehensive evaluation method, the affiliated matrix to different grade of "excellent, good, qualified and unqualified," for index can be got by layer-to-layer calculation, and finally determine the uncertain comprehensive evaluation vector, and by assignment calculation, establish the evaluation model for the residential landscape design, which provides the technical methods to evaluate program more standardized.(3) Ten experts are invited to make evaluation for the design program of Shanghai Yi-Lin Garden Landscape, according to the evaluation index and the requirement of grade standard. The program evaluation model is used to take advanced calculation on the basis of the experts'results.The final score of Program 1 is 85.69. which get its grade of excellent quality;otherwise, the score of Program 2 is 82.53 with the grade of good quality. Then, the Program 1 is a better design program. Actually, in the bidding process, the Program 1 wins the bid, and it becomes the ultimate program for implementation. This case verifies the correctness of program evaluation model.For the landscape design for residential areas is the combination of art and technology, the grogram evaluation need to take the objectivity of program and experts'subjective perception into account, which makes the complexity of program evaluation.The research of evaluation method for landscape design for residential area is just the initial research work, and many parts need to be refined, especially the intercross or conflicting problem between index, the rationality of the index weight, as well as the sequencing for computer calculation, and so on. The research work in this paper is only the tip of the iceberg, but may offer little reference value for evaluation methods of landscape design program for residential areas.
