| The partially filled tractor-semitrailer plays more important role in the high road transport, which include some liquid more lighted and exploded. Because of the partially filled tractor-semitrailer is more large, high, and its big mass, it is more prone to swing, rollover and jack-knife, on the traveling. In present study, the directional dynamics and stability characteristics of partially-filled tank vehicles are analyzed and enhanced through formulation of an optimal tank configuration, and analytical models for analyses of vehicle responses to steady and transient steering maneuvers, and combined steering and braking inputs. On the base of these characteristics, some research have been done on the influence of the liquid slosh with the partially filled tractor-semitrailer in this thesis.Firstly, on the condition of non-liquid-filled and the assumption that mass-filled, a rigid tractor-semitrailer model is set up. On the meanwhile an ADAMS model is also set up and some compare between two models has been done in order to make sure the rigid model is correct.Secondly, the liquid is only chosen the study object and its dynamic behavior is examined based on the dynamics of liquid slosh. Then, according to the liquid dynamics characteristics, an equivalent linear model such as pendulum-damp mode, is set up. At the same time, some compare has been done to make sure the pendulum-damp is correct. Finally, the pendulum-damp model is added on the rigid tractor-semitrailer model, a whole partially-filled tractor-semitrailer is sep up. The dynamic influence of liquid to the stability of the whole partially-filled tractor-semitrailer is examined for different cases. |
