With the speed development of the society and the city.More and more high building is avalanching.So more foundation pit is coming.Excavating of the pit is so difficulty for the complex of under-ground cancl.The support of excavation is much more rough.The cost is much.Foundation pit is spacial configuration of plane scale and depth.But Much more composer like to design foundation pit as a simple plane and to design it by the theory of soil stress, Which is not exactly.The Three-Dimensional effects of foundation pit is that can cut down the displacement of excavation in digging the pit.This paper expatiate the theory of Three-Dimensional effects and investigate the not supported excavation's Three-Dimensional effects by finite-volume computer code FLAC3D.(1)The investigation of Three-Dimensional effects in Not supported foundation pit We can educe rule of excavation's Three-Dimensional effects in breach mode and rule of the soil in excavation corner keeping sta-bilization.In not breach mode,I should investigate the different of displacement in corner and middle of excavation and investigate the affect area of Three-Dimensional effects in two dig methods which is digging of right abgle and digging of obtuse angle. We can educe the difference of two methods and direct the practice.(2)The investigation of Three-Dimensional effects in supported foundation pitThis paper should investigate the Three-Dimensional effects of supported foundation pit.I adopt soil nail as the supported method. The investigation comprise soil nailing force's change with the change of distance in corner and not need supported area in corner.We can do some investigation of Three-Dimensional effects in other supported methods and in underground water by next step.The investigation of Three-Dimensional effects is little.A little engineering put it in the practice.In fact we can ensure the safety of excavation and debase cost by considering the Three-Dimensional effects.I hope the work of this paper can help excavation's designing and constructing.
