As developed basic electronic components, positive temperature coefficient resistance elements have been used in varies of fields in electronic industry. In these devices, BaTiO3 series have a larger manufacture scale with some significant problems in producing process. Thus, research on this has a high value in theory and practice.This dissertation introduced formula and producing techniques of BaTiO3 series positive temperature coefficient resistances, including the effect of some additives, how to reduce the vaporization of Pb during producing process and improvement of several producing techniques.In detail, in the side of formula research we changed the ratio and content of Y and Mn to reduce the elements'resistance, then enhanced the ability to stand high voltage of the elements by adding Ca, at last modulated the ratio of Ba and Sr to achieve better mutant ability of our elements. In the side of techniques research, we controlled the vaporization of Pb by regulating some factors in elements'sintering, then confirmed better density of pieces of the elements before sintering and better reserved time of pre-calcining process.
