In the coastal areas of China, which abounds in water, the layout of nuclear power plants is basically completed. The development of nuclear power plant construction is imperative to the inland. Coal shortage and less water afflicted northern region, only the construction of air-cooled nuclear power plant can solve energy needs. Air-cooled power plant technology has been improved, especially in the Huadian Lingwu power plant the construction of Huadian Lingwu power plant 1000MW is underway. All the signs signaling the advent of air-cooled nuclear power station is now within our grasp. In recent years, research on air-cooled nuclear power plants in the literature still remains in the selection of the type of air-cooled stage. In this thesis, based on exploring the feasibility of combined power and refrigerating cycle for power plant air cooling system used in nuclear power plants, we use CFD for composite phase change heat exchanger and air cooling the radiator to simulate. Shah's heat transfer model for boiling region is widely used today, to predict and compare the predicted heat transfer coefficient with numerical value that is calculated by FLUENT. Prove the feasibility of composite air-cooling circulatory system. It can be determined by numerical simulation of the total phase change heat transfer coefficient, and we find some factors of affecting phase change heat exchanger. Further, we measures the root number of tubes and heat transfer area. Combined power and refrigerating cycle for power plant air cooling system can meet the cooling needs of nuclear power plant related equipments. Combined power and refrigerating cycle for power plant air cooling system are better than others, many advantages such as economy, security, etc., to make it more suitable for air-cooled nuclear power nuclear power plants.
