As some research indicates, well indoor environment can give pleasure to people and improve working efficiency. So seeking comfort is going to be the new trend of HVAC system. There two points of comfort air-condition:First, meeting the need of comfort requirement; Second, the requirement of energy efficiency. The PMV index which is advanced by Professor P.O.Fanger is getting attention of people.Considering the exchange of four seasons, the requirement of indoor environment fitness is different. Based on different condition of four seasons, five working conditons will be researched in this paper. The five condition can exchange by each other. By working on five conditon running, energy consumption of HVAC system will effectiviely reduced.In this paper, the environment factors which will effect the PMV index is given a certain mount of research. The temperature and wind speed is the main reason while the human factors are fixed. The PMV prediction model based on OBP algorithm which is improved from BP-neural network is established in MATLAB6.5. The different value of parameters and its impact to thermal comfort as well as energy consumption were analyzed and trained on the term of OBP neural network. The results show that the established model can get good trained network.The model which is indirect controlled by thermal comfort index is raised based on five working conditons. By using of emulation experimentation, the different effection of traditional air-conditon control and thermal comfort index control are firstly researched. Based on thermal comfort control, the result of differetn temperature control method, PID control and Fuzzy-PID control, is analyzed. The result show that the thermal comfort index control can get a better consequence comfort and energy efficiency sides.At the end of paper, an experimentation platform is built based on PCS7. It shows that control system in this paper is available in real-life. It also provide qualification for futher research.The research results of the paper have a litter innovation to the traditional air-condition control way that is only based on the adaptation to indoor temperature and humidity. By using different working conditons it enhances the comfort of air-condition system, at the same time, it is also favor to make full use of the energy-saving potential.
