The technology of rubber powder modified asphalt can highly improve the technical performance, usasility as well as the service life of the express way surface. The spread and application of the technology of rubber powder modified asphalt will extremely increase economical and social benefits. The thesis, through the contrast experiments of the Penetration, Ductility, softening point, makes contrastive experimental researches of the viscosity, elongation property, elevated temperature and low temperature performance, temperature sensitivity of rubber powder modified asphalt under different mixing rate and compounding relations. Analyzing the changing rules of rubber modified asphalt according to the experimental studies and referring to the related national regulation as well as relative standard from other provience, this thesis puts forward the controlling standard of road-use performance guide line of rubber modified asphalt.Rubber modified asphalt mixes is one of the hot spots in the research field, since it has many advantages, such as lightness, good elastic shock absorption, good sound insulation, high ductility and toughness, and so on. This paper researches the asphalt-aggregate ratio through the Marshall test, elevated temperature and low temperature performance through the high temperature stability test, water-resistant through the water stability test and flexural performance through the tensile test of the rubber modified asphalt mixes. This paper puts forward performance standards advice for practical applications.Finally, this paper verifies a series of strengths and weaknesses of the rubber powder modified asphalt through test road. Combined with practical project, the paper proves benefits of the rubber modified asphalt on the pavement project and research the service performance of pavement. The paper puts emphasis on evaluation and analysis the economic benefits of the rubber modified asphalt.
