Developing Of Flow Computer

In order to speed up the progress of flow measurement network and realize the more accurate and more convenient flow control, flow computer is invented,which is a key equipment in flow measurement network. Flow computer is a measuring equipment embedded with industry CPU which could do data acquisition to several flow measurement points. It could do high accuracy compensation operation and data storage and display. It also has network communication function. It could be widely applied in trade measurement and factory management network in industry of petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, power and town gas, heating.This dissertation is aimed at developing a flow computer which could match pulse-type flow meter and differential pressure type flow meter. It could complete metering and communication, real-time display and store flow data with several flow meter at the same time.And it could use the HART protocol to implement field instrument communication function.Also it could use Internet to fulfill remote network communication function.This paper analyses key technologies of the security of the data, communications, and anti-interference, signal processing in the flow computer design process. And the mathematic model is optimized.This article put forward the overall software and hardware design of the flow computer. Also each module is designed through the analysis of functional requirements. Flow computer looks elegant with the TFT true color LCD screen and graphical user interface are user-friendly.It is powerful with industrial computer processors. It has safely large capacity storage which the flow data can be stored for 10 years. It could communicate with field instruments facilitate. And remote control is realized using internet. This all contribute to the true realization of flow measurement network.At last a preliminary performance test is finally conducted to Flow computer prototype in the paper.
