Abstract/Summary:
Using the renewable energy and developing the green-ship technology for the shipbuilding industry is a potential direction in the future. Taking photovoltaic technology used on the ship for example, the solar panels are built in a reasonable angle relative to the sun's rays in order to obtain more solar energy, which is converted to electrical energy for direct using or temporary storing. As we knew that the conversion efficiency of solar cell is not only depend on the semiconducting silicon used in the cell, but also has something to do with the spectral transmittance of the cell's cover glass. The marine environment, containing lots of salt, moisture and the acid-base substance flowing in the wind, is quite a hostile environment for using photovoltaic system on the ship. These potential factors mentioned above will causes a series of problem, such as contamination, coloration, corrosion, wear and so forth. Furthermore, the optical property deterioration and surface damage will emerge either, especially in this complicated circumstance and effect. Therefore, it is necessary to research the cover glass' actual rule of optical property deterioration and its characteristic of surface damage, moreover, the significance of this research is out of question absolutely.Setting the cover glass of solar cell as research target, the first step is how to deal with the main problem for using the solar photovoltaic system on the ship that sailing in the marine environment, and then, analyze the influence factors of photoelectric conversion efficiency. The experimentation and criterion for researching marine solar cell in simulated laboratory of seawater condition is established first, and an accelerated test method is used to study the cover glass' spectral transmittance and its rule of surface variation.Secondly, the spectral transmittance of each sample of cover glass is researched in artificial seawater containing different salt concentration, and so is the surface variation. The result, the formation of some different spots actually, shows that the corrosion is deepening along with trial protracting. The spectral transmittance experiences a fluctuation, showing an ascending trend after a short reduction.Thirdly, a series of contrastive test are carried out to investigate the output characteristic of solar panel in artificial seawater containing different salt concentration and/or not, with same environmental temperature and solar radiation intensity. Then, analyze the solar panel's rule of output characteristic variation in order to provide referenced data for improving the reliability of solar panel and photoelectric conversion efficiency of marine photovoltaic system.
