Single—phase AC power system,25 kV, is applied in China electrified railway. On the one hand, the separation of pantograph and catenaries caused by the hard spot widely distributed in catenaries; on the other hand, In order to solve the problem, single·phase loads negative sequence current effects on the stability of the power system, home and abroad set electric phase break. With the help of this equipment, method of phase by phase cycle can be used to reduce the negative sequence current content.Identified in the operation, while the separation of pantograph and catenaries or the EMUs passing the phase break, the contact line are burned out by arc, and the normal operation of the ATP system is affected. These accidents take seriously impact on the electrified railway safety. Therefore study on EMUs Pantograph offline and passing the electrical phase break, explore the failure mechanism, for the construction and operation of electrified railways have some significance.First of all, this paper describes the process of the separation of pantograph and catenaries, discuss the reason of harassment arising from the separation. On this basis, the distribution transformer is derived parameters, use of MATLAB and other software process modeling and simulation experiments to pantograph offline by the harassment of amplitude and conduction through the conduction of the main results.Then, this paper introduces the entire process of EMUs passing the electrical phase break. and one by one analysis and theoretical derivation. Simulate the entire process of EMU passing the phase break with using of circuit simulation software. On the basic of simulation analysis and combining with the test data, the correctness of the theory was verified.Finally, in support of the analysis of the theory, this paper gives some effective measures to resolve and reasonable suggestions...
