Molded pulp products,which are made of raw materials like wood pulp, reed, straw, bamboo and other natural plants,are formed by the mold through the vacuum forming,compaction,drying,shaping,in consistency with the outline as well as the contents.As Molded Pulp industry is being into the development of the period of application expansion, the requirements of the structure's performance raise. Currently, the limited carrying capacity is a performance bottleneck in molded Pulp structural,which hinder its further application expansion. Based on this situation, The molded Pulp of Chessboard structure is envisaged for the first time at home and abroad.and then it is discussed furtherly on the paper, on which its performance is analyzed preliminarily by referencing on"Plate and Shell Theory","Packaging Dynamics"and"Buffer and Fragility Theory"and is analyzed by using the techniques of computer simulation and by means of part experimental verification. researched as follows:1. Chessboard structure is envisaged at the first time, and it's performance is analyzed preliminarily by referencing on"Plate and Shell Theory","Packaging Dynamics"and"Buffer and Fragility Theory".2. The carrying capacity and buffer capacity of the chessboard structure are tested by appling finite element analysis tool such as ANSYS Simulation and COSMOS,and Model analysis and harmonic vibration analysis are applied in molded Pulp Chessboard structure by means of ANSYS Simulation in the field of research on molded Pulp for the first time also.3. Solidworks as a design tool is applied to construct design and mold design of molded Pulp of Chessboard Structure,which way is summarized at first, and then the molded Pulp of Chessboard Structure is made in strong support of a molded Pulp CO.LTD.4. By making full use of existing experimental conditions,the carring capacity of the structure is measured out.and then buffering coefficient and Maximum stress curve are obtained, and the vibration tests are done.5. Foreign packaging and transportation manufatureers prefer to do partial buffer with cell structures which are widely applicable and perfectly practical. On the basis of this, the paper proposes the idea that checkerboard structure be popularized to part package and then analyzes the feasibility of this proposal.
