A Discussion About Interior Design As The Supplement And Improvement To Building Interior Space

Nowadays, it has been increasingly recognized that interior design, as an essential means to improve the function of the interior spaces, has played a vital role in providing people with personalized and ergonomic living space in their daily lives. The existence of interior design in building interior space is inevitable. The demands of building interior space can vary according to different users. Therefore it is irrational to change the building interior space. Thus interior design can be an important solution to improve the function of interior spaces. It is the perfect merge with the idea of building interior space under the same guideline, and is inseparable linked with each other. The two concepts have inherence and external relations with each other. They influence each other and are mutually dependent. Furthermore, interior design is the supplement and improvement to interior space. It is an essential means to personalize and rationalize interior space.In this paper I have argued the inevitable existence of interior design in terms of the relationship between interior design and building interior space. Furthermore I explained that interior design is the necessary supplement and improvement to the defect in building interior space. Interior design is a comprehensive study on shaping the whole interior building structure. It has various connotations. In the process of interior design, the designer's priority is to give people satisfaction on their daily needs, eg. spacious room, reasonable arrangements, these demands can be addressed by narrowing down the function of the building, transferring the space, widening the potential of the body walls. Meantime, with the development of the living standard of the people, people today have higher expectation on high-quality living. Interior design will therefore have a new mission to accomplish, to meet the material and cultural demands of the citizens. Therefore, the buzz words"Style""Personality"become the essential elements of interior design. It is known to us all that every design was endowed with a special style at the beginning, however, due to some objective conditions, there may be some flaws or imperfection in building interior space. Thus, within these limitations, the outer architecture style should be in line with the interior design style, in a word, all means should be taken into consideration to compensate its defect, and to make improvements.Interior design is a comprehensive study which is the reconstruction, re-adjustment and recreation of building interior space. The interior designers are required to have a wide knowledge of architecture and art, and vast life experience, thus he can apply his eco-design ideas and experience to his design works.
