With the rapid development of China's economic construction, urban high-rise buildings growing and constantly increasing depth of excavation. Meanwhile, with the acceleration of urban construction, we now has very limited land resources, so development and utilization of underground space has become a new research hotspot. Not only the existence of deep excavation pit's own security and stability issues, but also it caused the crisis surrounding strata adjacent buildings, underground pipelines, and urban municipal facilities due to the foundation pit excavation and earth movement. Therefore, the ability to correctly predict and control the deep excavation of the surrounding environment is often decided to design the key to success. Excavation on the surrounding environment including:the impact of foundation pit, disturbance on the surrounding environment during the excavation, excavations deformation and so on.This article from the deep excavation of the surrounding environment and the reasons of starting the discussion. Then summarizes the strengthening mechanism of building foundation and introduced uneven foundation settlement on the foundation reinforcement techniques. On this basis, on the conditions of that the surrounding environment during the construction of the foundation pit deformation requirements for designing, combined with the actual excavation works, the structure in the foundation pit selection, support structure, and such as force and displacement was designed and monitored through the construction process, then verify that the designed structure of the reliability of the foundation pit of similar projects have some reference value.
