In recent years, as China's rapid economic development, highways,transportation construction industry have achieved unprecedented results.Because ofthe geology, design, construction and cost, material properties, seismic and othernegative reasons, the operating tunnels' security issues become increasinglyprominent.Tunnel diseases during the operating period will directly affect theperformance of the normal use of the tunnel, even jeopardize traffic safety.Asafety evaluation index system of the operating tunnels is established in thispaper by using the real-time monitoring on the structural safety situation of theoperating tunnel and basing on the structural safety analysis of the tunnel diseasesinfluencing factors . Using the Multiplication scale method to determine the weight ofevaluation index and the fuzzy mathematics method to determine the membershipdegree of the evaluation indicators.On this basis, the the tunnel safety fuzzycomprehensive evaluation model is established , the quantitative evaluation of theoperating tunnel structural safety situation and the scientific management of roadtunnels are realized ,besides,a numerical example and an engineering example areused to illustrate the evaluation model.In order to implement the real-time management on the structural safety situationof the operating tunnels , Fortran language and C + + language are used to develop thestructural safety situation evaluation system of the operating tunnels .This system canrecord each section's disease information of the operating tunnels and analysis thedisease information to get the road tunnels' safety level of this section throughdetecting segment by segment ,which can provide an evaluation platform for thewhole tunnel structural safety analysis .Because of its simple interface and easy tooperate, there is a certain prospect of engineering application ahead of this system.
