As the main energy sources at present stage, China's coal demand is growing, wich maks the coal's status more important.With the coal of surface and shallow gradually mined , the deep mining is pending to be faced and resolved at this stage.But the deep- strip mining exploration methods has just started, there are many issues still worth studying.Paper is based on the data analysis and research exploitation of Kailuan Group's existing, combined with the stability of the current strip mining in the coal pillar, undermine the deformation mechanism and surface deformation features of the corresponding studies.Through the strip coal pillar stress analysis for the level of coal pillars, the use of key layer theory and the mutation theory of the horizontal strip coal pillar theoretical model of the deep band opened the stability of coal pillar and the destruction of non-linear process of exploration and research. Discussed the limit which the banding coal column mined to pick the width; In the analysis existing banding coal column plastic sector width computational method foundation, simulated through FLAC has picked deep coal column banding mining greatly, obtained has suited in studies under the region special geology and the mining condition banding mining width; In addition, the papers has carried out simulation analysis on the mining subsidence of large deep-mining of strip mining, and has combined with the same recovery ratio under the conditions of the different mining width simulation , has found the characteristics of surface subsidence in large deep-mining of strip mining.
