21st century witnessed the significant advance of the application of micro-seismic monitoring technique in all kinds of mines around the world and most of the researches emphasize on the Disasters of mine ground pressure, so there are less reports on the mine ground water disaster and safety and firmness monitoring of the grouting curtain by this kind of technique. The project team has established a multi-channel digital micro-seismic monitoring system in order to conduct continuous monitoring on the stability of the water barrier, analyze and forecast the micro-seismic activities in the water barrier area, and implement the early alarm on the area where the potential water rushing may be generated. Our study breaks through the traditional way of the predicting water outburst disaster on mines by representation information, beginning from the essence of the micro fracture induced by the mining stress that resulting in water inrush disaster on mines, basing on the method of micro-seismic monitoring and the theoretical analysis of micro fracture evolution rule, focusing on exploring the internal agent and the omen rule of gestating the water inrush disaster, taking the microseism real-time monitoring, the water inrush disaster real-time forecast as the goal.Based on the researching results of our group team in the using of micro-seismic monitoring system and the experience of the mine professional technicians in blocking the ground water inrush, using the technique of the micro-seismic system, the thesis analyses the mechanism of several kinds of ground water inrush, and the advantage of the work in dealing with this kind of disaster conducted by the system. Considering about the other objects in which we are working in the same time, an assumption and prospect about establishing an overall monitoring system are brought forward. By the same system we can monitor and predict the geological hazards such as the mine ground pressure, rock burst, water inrush, coal and gas outburst disasters, and based on the wireless network,, the system can automatically read and transmit the data to the management center and controls the station of the system in the local mine.The main works are summarized as follows:(1) The local mine geological structure and physics mechanical properties of the rocks have been investigated systematically, the relationship between them and the events of the micro-seismic monitoring system has also been analyzed so as to adjust the system parameters, then improve positioning precision and acquire more effective events.(2) To enlarge uses of micro-seismic system and enhance its safety effect needs it's combination with the local mining practical work and the experience of dealing with the historical geological hazards around the zone. So in this paper, the analyses are focused on the mechanic of several kinds of water inrush, the mine's ability and experience of hazard management, and the function of the micro-seismic system using in predicting, controlling and the result testing of the hazard.(3) The feasibility of using the micro-seismic system in the mine disaster emergency rescue is studied. The paper also analyses the possible usage of the system in each stage of the rescue, and through a special knock test, it found there is still some need to improve the rescue system.
