In order to resolve the problems of poor quality and high energy consumption in heat treatment, through the analysis of heat treating furnace structures and operations over home and abroad, it is advanced that study the optimum temperature condition schedule of furnace operation according to the technical curve of heat treating is necessary. In this paper analysis the development of conventional combustion control system and the characteristics of conventional combustion control system. And introduce the basic principle of pulse combustion and control methodology, and the pulse combustion advantages compared with conventional combustion. Introduce the basic principle of high speed burner, and the advantages of using to car bottom type heat treatment furnace.A mathematical model of the flowing field of heat even section for car bottom type heat treatment furnace is established with the commercial calculation software. Using the k-εmodel studies turbulence and achieves the air flowing and velocity distributing rule under cold condition inside furnace.Turbulence model is currently available that is valid for all types of flows due to the complexity of the mechanics of the fluid turbulent flow. Butk-εtwo-equation model is applied most widely in engineering. This article mainly simulates the steady turbulent flow of the furnace and compares the results to theory, moreover, satisfying results can be obtained by adopting the appropriate wall function method near the wall region.In this article, simulating was taken on a regenerative walking beam reheat furnace in a certain steel plant by the application of Fluent, one of CFD software. A three-dimension geometrical model was created, using k-εturbulent model, Rosseland radiation model, obtained various data about the positions of flow field, and temperature field in reheat furnace as well as calefactive curve and temperature distribution of slab. Then simulate these data again under the conditions of variations in the types of inlet-speed of high speed burner. These fields' distribution rules under different conditions have been obtained.At the same time, comparison would be made on these data, from different condition, acquired the methods that improve the quality and degrade the energy consumption.All of theses researches, hopefully, could be helpful to the understandings of car bottom type heat treatment furnace's working process, as well as further furnace optimization. |
