In the underground engineering, shotcrete has become the most of effective one can withstand the test of technology. Nowadays with the increase of the depth of metal mining. The rock burst problem is very prominent, and the deformation of surrounding rock of roadway is aggravated. therefore, the deep mining of ordinary concrete, because of its own limitations, for a period of time after inject through cracks and block out the prominent phenomenon. The supporting function is gradually reduced, and even can’t maintain the stability of the roadway. In recent years, the research and development of concrete is very hot, a lot of new types of concrete appearance. Under the consideration of materials, the steel fiber reinforced concrete is more popular in the engineering field. In this paper, the reinforcement mechanism, failure mechanism, mechanical properties and microstructure of steel fiber reinforced shotcrete are analyzed and studied, and the concrete contents are as follows:Based on the two theories of composite material and fiber spacing, the reinforcing mechanism of steel fiber reinforced concrete is analyzed, and the difference between the steel fiber concrete and the common concrete is compared. On the basis of this, the orthogonal experiment was designed to analyze the mechanical characteristics and factors of steel fiber reinforced concrete, and the influence of different materials on the mechanical properties was analyzed finally get a more reasonable mix. The interface lager is the link of two materials of interface lager microstructure and interface lager strengthening effect. On the basis of this, the interfacial bond strength was tested,and the effect of interfacial bond strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete support structure was analyzed by the catastrophe theory.The carrying capacity of steel fiber shotcrete supporting and harrying steel mesh codes in Europe on China. FLAC3D numerical simulation software was used to simulate and compare the effect of two kinds of steel fiber reinforced concrete and ordinary concrete on the tunnel excavation. And in view support effect of different thickness of shotcrete layer is simulated.
