Water soluble ammonium polyphosphate (APP) developed in recent years is a new type of all-water soluble nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer. APP’s metal chelate and efficient fertilizer has strong economic and practical value, although it has not been widely used in China. In particular, the ability of chelate metal ions with water soluble ammonium phosphate can make APP play a more effective function. One of the pillar industries in Yunnan, Yuntianhua Co., Ltd. produce high concentrations of phosphate and compound fertilizer with by-products such as phosphate rock of wet process phosphoric acid and others. The research is not only helpful to broaden the sky of the new type of fertilizer production, enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises and economic efficiency, fully realize resource efficiently, can also provide new ideas for the fine phosphorus chemical products. In this paper, the content of metal ions in water soluble poly ammonium phosphate chelate as the main indicators, the main factors are reaction temperature, reaction time, pH value, stirring speed, mass ratio and so on. By single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments, combined respectively to explore the magnesium, iron and copper ion and water soluble poly ammonium phosphate chelating extraction chelating experimental method, get the best experimental scheme, and the application of infrared spectra of ammonium polyphosphate chelate characterization validates the analysis. The research conclusion is as follows:(1) the water soluble ammonium phosphate and Mg2+ chelating experiment to prepare chelate solution, through the single factor experiment to get the best value of each factor:temperature is 30 degrees centigrade; time is 60min; pH value is equal to 6.5; speed 300r/min; mass ratio is 6.3%. Based on orthogonal experiment, three optimum operating conditions:temperature is 30 degrees centigrade, time is 60min, pH value is equal to 6.5, speed is 250r/min, ratio of mass is 9.1%; temperature is centigrade 30, time is 40min, pH value is equal to 6.5, speed is 250r/min, mass ratio is 9.1%; temperature is 30 degrees centigrade, time is 60min, pH value is equal to 6.5, rotation speed is 200r/min, the ratio of mass is 6.3%. The optimal solution of the solid Mg2+ ion chelate is proved to be the temperature is 30 degrees centigrade, the time is 60min, the pH value equal to 6.5, the rotational speed is 250r/min, and the ratio of mass is 9.1%.(2) Cu2+and water soluble ammonium phosphate chelating experiments for the preparation of chelating solution. Single factor experiment to get the maximum value of the factors:temperature is 35 degrees Celsius; time 60min; pH value is equal to 6.5; speed is 250r/min; mass ratio 9.1%. Based on orthogonal experiment, two optimum operating conditions:reaction temperature is 40 degrees Celsius, the time is 60min, pH is value equal to 6.5, speed is 300r/min, the ratio of mass ratio of 6.3%; temperature is 30 degrees Celsius, time is 60min,. pH value is equal to 6.5, rotation speed is 200r/ min, the ratio of mass is 6.3%. The optimal solution of the solid Cu2+ ion chelate is proved to be the reaction temperature 30 degrees Celsius, reaction time is 60min, pH value is equal to 6.5, the rotational speed is 200r/min, the mass ratio is 6.3%.(3) Fe3+and water soluble ammonium phosphate chelating experiments for the preparation of chelating solution. Through the single factor experiment, the best value of each factor that is obtained:the temperature is 40 degrees Celsius; the time is 60min; the pH value is equal to 6.5; the rotational speed is 300r/min; the mass ratio is11.1%. Based on orthogonal experiment, two optimum operating conditions: temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, time 60min, pH value equal to 6.5, speed 200r/ min, the mass ratio of 9.3%; 40 degrees Celsius temperature, time is 70 min, pH value is equal to 6.5, rotation speed is 200Rr/min, the mass ratio of is11.1%. The optimal solution of Fe3+ion solid chelate is proved to be the reaction temperature 40 degrees C, reaction time is 60min, the pH value is equal to 6.5, the speed is 200r/min, the mass ratio is 9.1%.Comparison of three kinds of metal ion optimum reaction conditions, and the optimal reaction temperature is between 30 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius, reaction time is 60min, pH value is equal to 6.5, the speed is 200 to 250 r/min, but the best mass ratio have large differences in each other.
