Non-dyed viscose fiber by spinning and weaving of colored textiles, without dyeing process, and after conventional treatment can become textile goods, from the source solves the dyeing of the high consumption and pollution problems, is considered to have good prospects of development. But in the production of non-dyed viscose fiber also exist some problems, such as:in the production and trade of fiber is related to evaluate the problem of fiber color by use the color measuring instrument, but the fiber color measurement method is not accurate, and the method of operation is not strong. The color matching and measurement problem in the production of non-dyed fiber, how to formulate the corresponding color spinning solution according to the requirements of the fiber color, the design of its pigment prescription also need further exploration. For the fiber producers, if the customer have fabric or yarn sample, how to determine the pigment formulation of the fiber spinning solution, and obtain the required fabric or yarn color. These problems have a direct impact on the promotion and application of non-dyed viscose fibers.Subject to non-dyed viscose fiber and yarn color measuring and matching are studied to determine the color measuring method of fiber and yarn, and found that the single color variation among the fiber, yarn and fabric, to build a non-dyed viscose fiber color measuring and matching database to provide reference, the further research has theoretical and practical significance.The paper is based on the trichromatic color matching principle, and require KUBELKA-MUNK principle and the optical properties of the fibers for its theoretical underpinnings, thereby carried out research work. (1) The uniform fiber samples were prepared by the methods of hand-carding, hand-pulling, machine-carding and machine-carding & merging evenness, the effects of sample thickness, the sample angle and relative humidity on fiber color measurement were examined, finally the fiber color measuring method were determined. (2) The flat surface of the yarn were prepared by the methods of hand-wrapping and machine-wrapping, the effects of sample thickness, the sample angle and relative humidity on yarn color measurement were examined, finally the yarn color measuring method were determined. (3) The fibers dyed by trichromatic reactive dyes were determined as research subject, the color relations and laws among the dyed fibers,color yarns and fabrics were studied, laying basis on this, we confirmed the fiber dyeing concentration by means of color measured value of yarn or fabric, so as to it’s realized the color connection among single colored viscose fiber yarn and fabric.The results showed that:(1) The color measurement and sample preparation methods of short fiber determining by the subject:The hand-carding method, machine-carding and machine-carding & merging evenness method, in this methods samples prepared with good reproducibility. preparing a sample size of 6* 6cm; compressed thickness of 1mm ± 0.1mm, Test conditions are relative humidity of 65%, color measurement being placed at the same angle, choosing a large aperture (20mm), light source of D65, viewing angle of 10°. (2) The same twist of single yarn samples are prepared with the hand-wrapping method and machine wrapped method, this two kinds of sample preparation methods of color measurement reproducibility is good, numerical stability, wrapping thickness of 1.5mm(±0.2mm), compressed size of 5*5mm, relative humidity of 65%, yarn sample being placed at the same angle, choosing a large aperture (20mm). (3) In the experimental dyeing concentration (o.w.f%) range, fiber, yarn and fabric object reflectance curve towards the same direction, the fiber reflectance curve keep close to the yarn and fabric reflectance curve, the color has different depth between the fiber and yarn varies with the concentration of dyeing. (4) For the three primary colors of dyeing fibers and colored yarns, there is a good linear relationship about the K/S value of fiber and yarn with the different dyeing concentration o.w.f%. Under the same dyeing concentration, there is a difference color depth with the K/S values of between fiber and fiber spinning yarn. At the same K/S value of the fiber and yarn, there is a difference concentration △ o.w.f% with the dyeing concentration of between fiber and fiber spinning yarn, and there is a linear relationship between the △ o.w.f% and K/S value, it’s realized the color connection between single color fiber and yarn.
