In this article, the industrial process of ester-tin heat stabilizer di(β-butoxy carbonyl-ethyl) tin bis(isooctyl mercaptoacetate) and its intermediates isooctyl mercaptoacetate and bis(β-butoxy carbonyl-ethyl) tin dihalides are studied by means of orthogonal design.In this paper, a new process of isooctyl mercaptoacetate synthesis, which uses 80% sulfuric acid as catalyst, industrial Isooctyl chloroacetate was synthesized from chloroacetic acid and 2-ethylhexanol, via sulfhydrylation, acidolysis and reduction reaction,converted into isooctyl mercaptoacetate. Many factors, which concerned with the reaction such as the molar ratio of raw materials, and the type of catalyst, and the quantity of the catalyst, and the solvents with water, and reaction temperature, and reaction time are studied. The results showed that the optimum technological conditions should be that, and the main factor affecting the reaction is found. Many factors affecting reaction such as the ratio of raw materials, the Concentration of Sodium carbonate, reaction temperature, reaction time are researched, and the optimistic scheme is determined. The product was characterized by IR, elementary analysis and tin content analysis. Then the heat stability is tested according to national standard GB/T 2917.1-2002, and the satisfy result is obtained. |
