In the field of chemical, biotechnology, food processing, and wastewater treatment, mixing devices are widely used. When the viscosity of the fluid mixing is large or there are special requirements, the medium is actually in laminar flow. This thesis simulate the mixing time of the laminar flow stirred tank. Talking about the factors that affect the mixing time. Use the color-change method in the laboratory experiments to make research on the mixing time.Use FLUENT to simulate the mixing of the double-slot straight stirred tank. For the different feeding points and detecting points on the impact of mixing time is discussed in detail. The feeding point2 is a better point, and if we divide the tracer into two,and feed the two halves to the tank, this will be better. Different detecting points have a great effection on the mixing time of stirred tank. This article also simulate the effect of the stirring speed on mixing time.Based on the simulation of staggered stirred tank, this thesis tells out the difference of straight blade and inclined blade. In the axial mixing, the inclined blade is better, and in the radial mixing, the straight blade is in a better position.Eccentric stirred tank paddle changes the flow field, forming a wide range of global flows. This kind of flow is very useful. Compare the eccentric blade and center blade, we know that the eccentric blade is better than the center balde. Eccentric blade reduce the mixing time of the stirred tank and the working position of the stirred tank has been well improved.Using the color-change method to study the mixing time, analyzing the experimental results and simulation results, and receive that the simulation results agreed well with experimental results.
