The comfort of driving will be improved and the service life of the engine will be prolonged, if the vibration of automobile engine has been palliated. The technology of automobile balancing shaft can palliate vibration of automobile engine effectively. The balancing shaft of Citron C4 is one of the engines balancing shafts. The dynamic balancing and hot-press machine that this issue researches and develops is a measuring and pressing machine tool. Its main function is to measure the AEB balancing shaft's unbalancing, location the maximum unbalance and drill a mark, and complete the assembly and processing into the hot gear of the AEB balancing shaft. This equipment has solved the problem about the measuring accuracy of the AEB balancing shaft effectively, optimized the software system, improved the operability of the equipment.This article discusses the research and development of the dynamic balancing and hot-press machine of XF1495. The article has designed the machine tool on the basic of the dynamic balancing principle, the fit theory, PLC control theory and the software development idea of virtual instrument(Labwindows/CVI).These are the main jobs of this article: 1. developed the general idea of the equipment; 2. analyzed the design method of the hardware of the equipment, the dynamic balancing testing unit, electrical control unit, system's drive unit, and PC software unit. 3. designed this machine's electrical control system, namely PLC electrical control system which is based on Siemens S7-300. 4. analyzed the design of this machine's PC software system in detail, designed the software's flow chart, analyzed the algorithm of drilling phase and gear phase, and optimized the HMI .At the end of the article, summarization and prospect have been done, and the development direction about this machine tool's intelligence has been presented, and the modified method about fault resolution has been put forward.
