Sheet metal forming is a kind of manufacturing process with the highest efficiency and the least waste. Compared with the conventional stamping process, numeral control incremental forming (NCIF) is a novel technology in sheet metal forming which can get the productions with simple equipments and without any dies. Due to the improvement of formability, NCIF can get productions with very complex shape, which makes it very suitable to mall bathes. However, NCIF has not been widely used in the engineering practice mainly for the accuracy problem. In this paper, some relevant factors affecting on the accuracy of NCIF are studied, and the most relevant one is found out. All analysis results suggests that the factors make difference in forming accuracy by coupling effect which can influence forming force leading to the deformation of the forming tool.According to the module describing the relationship between forming force and forming parameters in spinning, a new module is proposed to express the relationship in NCIF which has been validated by experimental results. Assuming the forming tool as a cantilever beam structure, the relevantly exact results of forming force and deformation of forming tools, which can provide the compensation information, can be gotten. Due to the method proposed in this paper, the diverting between the actual mould and the theoretical mould can be calculated, and the production with higher accuracy can be gained by compensation.
