Research On The Planning And Design Of Green Neighborhood Based On LEED-ND

Facing the challenges of environment and climate, energy and resources problems, the concept of sustainable development attracted global attentions. Changing the traditional development mode, in order to deal with the current increasingly serious problems, promotes the transformation of ecological civilization, and it becomes the consensus of governments around the world. Green development is the latest expression of sustainable development in"the twelfth five-year-plan"of China. At present, most of domestic researches focus on macro policy levels of government program, frame, but it is difficult to spread out in the concrete operation. As the basic unit of the city, community and neighborhood provides an effective platform to join sustainable urban development, and is the practice of green city and the basic material carrier of green transformation. It is more practical and realistic significance to implement the strategy of sustainable development, and plays a positive role in the process.Above all, this paper analyses the concept and involving contents of community and green neighborhood, comparing it with the corresponding theoretical concepts—Low-carbon city and Eco-community, expounding the relationship between them, and summarizes the development and problem of green neighborhood in abroad and China. Secondly, the paper introduces LEED-ND rating system, and respectively expounds its background, organization composition and its core theories—smart growth, new urbanism, green building and infrastructure , discussing the guidance and meaning for the construction of green community in our country. Thirdly, discusses the green neighborhood planning strategies from location, land layout, spatial form, transportation system, facilities, green space system in medium level and water environment, energy plan, green building in micro level. Fourthly, the paper points out the implementing mechanism and ways to balance social interests as current planning tools of justice and efficiency in the face of confusion, and proposes public participation in green community planning and design. Finally, combined with JINWAITAN in Changsha, expounds the planning and design of the actual operation of the green neighborhood.
