Primarily Research Of The Chemical Reaction Catalyzed By Nitroreductase From Microorganism

It is a common chemical reaction to reduce the nitro group to amide. Compared with chemical reduction,it can make reacting condition mild and safe to use nitroreductase as catalyzer. A screening model has been developed to screen the nitroreductase from varieties of microorganism. By the methods of HPLC and LC/MS,one strain of bacterium No.134 was obtained with good activities of nitroreductase. It can convert the nitro group of the important pestcide intermediate to amide. The nucleotide sequence of the strain No.134's 16S rDNA showed the sequence similarity was 99.2% compared with with those of Bacillus SP. The enzyme activity of the nitroreductase can increase 109% by the primarily biological treatment,such as mutation,condition optimization.
