In recent years, The Fused fittings have been used in many profession fields, because it has excellent comprehensive performance and useful Prospects, such as indoor and outdoor water supply and drainage system, building water supply and drainage system, gas fittings, sewage fittings and so on, and it has been produced huge economic benefits. But, the production course is still face with many practical problems. The reasons why the Fused fittings has large deformation and contraction, especially its roundness problem in port, are that its material properties, the thick wall structural features and the backward of the forming technology in the country. Both these two problems seriously affect the coming welding performance. Therefore, we should have a research in the thick wall Fused fittings molding process and take some necessary measures to reduce the deformation of the Fused fittings.This study is based on the simulation technology of injection molding. Through building the simulation model and using CAE software to simulate the filling process, packing process and cooling process of injection molding, it can forecast product defects and auxiliary analyze the reasons of defects. It also can evaluate the project's feasibility and the effectivity. This method not only can greatly reduce production costs, but also can improve the design efficiency.This study is based on a great many times of simulation and analysis and molding inspection about different types of fused fittings. We selected the D200 Fused upright three channel fittings as the researching project. Using the results of MPI and designing of DOE, it could research the influence about the product deformation which the parameters are making to, and it also got the optimum combination of process parameters. Through using simulation analysis and experiment, the result showed that the deformation has reduced, but the port still had large deformation and unable to achieve the use requirement and it had a long production cycle. In order to analyze the reason about the deformation of the Fused fittings, we summarized the early analysis and experiment results. Combining with the researching results of predecessors, we also studied the deformation reasons and influence factors about the thick wall PE Fused fittings. The researching results showed that the main reasons about the port deformation were uneven shrinkage and residual stress. For solving the problems, we made a new design in mould structure, we used post-processing method to design the part which can design for the part with stripping with a core. Owing to the part which could not strip with a core, we used anti-deformatio method to modify the core and cavity, and compensated for shrinkage of the product. This method solved the problem successfully.At present, the thick wall Fused fittings have been researched less in the country. It made the product process and quality in the low level, and the product not have their own characteristics and Intellectual property. This paper has made a useful research in deformation mechanism of the thick wall Fused fittings and deformation Controlling. It has the value of practical application.
