| With the improvement of living standard and aesthetic taste, people have showed growing emphasis on living and working environment and high regard for the style of furniture, especially the products with curve or hood face, such as oval table, oval-shaped frame, wooden windows of European style and abnormity decorations. Furthermore, the market demand for these products is very large, and the shape and machining process of these products are not very complicated, and it is high cost and surplus function in use of high-end traditional three-dimensional NC milling machine, while it is caused low accuracy of curve contour with the linear interpolation method in use of low-end plane NC milling. So there have been urgent needs for the design of simple, practical and specialized NC equipment for rotary products, to achieve the purpose of obtaining high-grade precision with low control system.Firstly, for the products with rotary characteristic, this paper has proposed the composition theory of NC specialized wood working milling machine in polar coordinate, and verified that it has absolute advantage to process circular and non-circular conic round in the machine feed mode of polar coordinate; has studied the mathematical model of programme for constitution theory, and gave oval example to verify. Then under the guidance of the theory, a new type of NC specialized milling machine has been completely designed, with the main features of one-dimensional numerical control and polar coordinate, and with the composition of bed, supporting frame, transmission, compression institutions. Among of that transmission system includes the main transmission with bipolar speed and the feed drive system with radial (X direction), the rotation (C direction), which can achieve lots of functions, eg. The curve cutting for circular and non-circular conic round, digital speed control for empty run, and speed change for the radial feed and slewing feed, finally the profile curve will be completely processed with rough and finish machining.Secondly, the finite element analysis and solution have been carried on supporting frame of key component on this machine tool. After the study and solve for static, modal and harmonic response, they have been obtained and analyzed, containing the static maximum stress, maximum displacement and stress distribution of supporting frame, while the natural frequency and deformation drawing in the lower modes of supporting frame, as well as the harmonic response curves of key parts. The results showed that the support frame has met the design requirements with fine strength, rigidity and stability.Finally, the motion model of NC specialized wood working milling machine in polar coordinate have been established in Pro/E environment, and motion simulation of the model have been analyzed, which provide guidance for the design to improve and perfect; on the basis of bare equipment, the machine would have been designed, which could improve the machine aesthetic appearance and product quality, and effectively promote the market of the products.The design and research of this article have provided a new idea for processing rotary products and formed a new technology in the furniture manufacturing machinery. The NC specialized wood working milling machine in polar coordinate has the characteristic with the high NC machining accuracy of the curve and simple structure of the machine, whose function with dedicated, economic and practical orientation has filled gaps in the market, and should have a large market space and economic benefits. |
