Polysiloxane-epoxy has attracted much attention in the field of coating material due to the excellent combined performance of polysiloxane and epoxy. Epoxy of bisphenol A is the most widely used epoxy at present. However, the compatibility between epoxy of bisphenol A and polysiloxane is poor, which will cause phase separation of polysiloxane-epoxy during preparation and storage processes. This paper prepared polysiloxane-epoxy of hydrogenated bisphenol A (PSEHBA) coating with active group-containing polysiloxane (DC-3074) and epoxy of hydrogenated bisphenol A. The PSEHBA coating was cured by aminosilane to obtain PSEHBA/APTES coating with good comprehensive properties. The SiO2 sol was prepared through sol-gel process and used as SiO2 carrier to synthesize PSEHBA nano-coating to enhance the corrosion resistance of PSEHBA/APTES coating. The results show that:(1) The PSEHBA resin with good compatibility and storage stability can be chemically synthesized at 140℃for 3.5h by DGEHBA and DC-3074. The catalyst used is DBTDL (2% by weight of DC-3074).(2) The PSEHBA/APTES coating shows good compatibility during curing process when the content of DC-3074 is 50 wt%. The surface quality, mechanical properties, hydrophobicity, weather and heat resistance are excellent.(3) The SiO2 sol was prepared through sol-gel process and added into PSEHBA coating to obtain the nano-coating. The nano-coating exhibits good storage stability when the content of SiO2 sol is lower than 10wt%. When the content of SiO2 sol is 5wt%, the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of PSEHBA/APTES coating are obviously enhanced.(4) SEM analysis shows that the SiO2 particles disperse well in base material for PSEHBA/APTES coating containing 2.5wt% and 5wt% SiO2 sol. When the content of SiO2 sol is 7.5wt%, the SiO2 particles begin to exhibit agglomeration in base material. The agglomeration phenomenon of SiO2 particles is obvious for PSEHBA/APTES coating containing 10wt% SiO2 sol.
