| It was found that the bulky and electron-rich MOP type ligands, which were readily prepared from inexpensive, commercially available materials, exhibit high stability to both air and moisture, are efficient for the amination of aryl tosylates by using Pd(OAc)2 as Palladium source, PhB(OH)2 as reductive agent, K3PO4 as base, butanol as solvent. This catalyst system is efficient for kinds of tosylates or primary aromatic amines, indole, imine, hydrazone.By using these ligands, we also exploring the arylation of the phenols, and they were also certified to be efficient for the electron-poor aryl halides or hindred phenols and the yield over 80%.Meanwhile We developed a simple and efficient method for the synthesis of 2'-functionalized 1,1'-binaphthyl-2-ols without expensive noble metal reagent. By reductive ring-opening of binaphthofuran with lithium, followed by reacting with the corresponding electrophiles,2'-functionalized 1,1'-binaphthyl-2-ols compounds including the halides, amine, acid, aldehyde, carbonate or phosphonate were synthesized in moderate to good yield conveniently (over 83%). |
