Investigation And Evaluation On Medical Wastes Management Level: Case Of Partial Guangdong Hospitals

This paper mainly applied questionnaire survey to detect the medical wastes management level for part of guangdong province big hospitals, and based on fuzzy mathematics theory to construct comprehensive evaluation method, in view of the medical wastes management level for part of guangdong large hospitals, give a detailed analysis to current and potential exist issues, then proposed corresponding countermeasures.This research mainly through four methods to study:First, literature study. Access to relevant literature, understanding of medical waste management, application of fuzzy mathematics to understand most of the medical institutions of the existence of universal health care waste management problems, the actual situation in Guangdong Province, to design appropriate questionnaires. Second, the questionnaire survey. Using the questionnaire of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine First Affiliated Hospital, Guangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical College, New Town, Guangdong College of Pharmacy Affiliated Hospital, Guangdong Province Hospital of Integrated Traditional and Western (formerly the Chinese medicine hospital in the South China Sea), the people of the South China Sea Hospital, Chaozhou City People's Hospital (Chaozhou Hospital), Chaozhou City, Chinese Medicine Hospital, the Second People's Hospital of Shantou City, Shantou City, and Western Medicine Hospital and other hospitals in 10 investigations, a total of 400 questionnaires distributed, to understand the hospital medical waste practical level management, as well as the cognitive level of hospital management, hospital medical waste treatment processes in weak links. Third, the expert interviews. The logistics of the hospital medical waste management or leadership of the head expert interviews, to understand their problems in the management process or difficulties, needs improvement. Fourth, the mathematical modeling method. The use of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to some major hospitals in Guangdong Province of medical waste management to evaluate the level of research, found that the management of existing and potential, to obtain more accurate and objective evaluation results, which are more effective countermeasures.Hospitals in Guangzhou and Foshan, and Chaozhou-Shantou area of "medical waste management cognitive" part of the correct rate of significant difference (p= 0.286<0.05); Western Hospital, "medical waste management cognitive" part of no significant difference between the correct rate significance (p= 1.086> 0.05). Hospitals in Guangzhou and Foshan, and Chaozhou-Shantou area of "medical waste management operating conditions" section of the survey, scoring two district hospitals significant difference (p= 0.013<0.05), by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is found, the two medical waste the level of property management operations in the "excellent" rating and a similar level; Western Hospital, "medical waste management operating conditions" section of the survey, there is no difference between the scores of Chinese and Western Hospital, significant (p= 0.093> 0.05), Western Hospital, the medical waste Although both materials management operating conditions "excellent" rating, but the evaluation of Chinese medicine hospital in "good" only 79%, the West accounted for 86% of the hospital.This study surveys the four basic conclusions:first, Guangzhou and Foshan area hospital medical waste management awareness higher than the Chaozhou-Shantou area; Second, Western Hospital, a similar level of medical waste management awareness; third, Canton Darfur operation of hospital medical waste management situation in the hospital better than the Chaozhou-Shantou area; fourth, Western Hospital, the situation is similar to medical waste management operations.
