In recent years, with the rapid development of our country's economy and society, pollutant emissions increased. Water pollution and eutrophication of the lake are increasing. Taihu Lake, one of the five largest freshwater lakes in the Yangtze River, is also influenced. Its average water quality is worse than ClassⅣ; its eutrophication is in the middle level. The water pollution of Taihu Lake is mainly organic matter, nitrogen and phosphorus. Further more, Taihu Lake often outbreaks of algal blooms. One of the main reasons is the pollution of rivers around Taihu Lake. Therefore, it is important to enhance these rivers'pollution control, water purification, and eco-restoration. And the eutrophication of Taihu Lake will be reduced, the water quality will be better. So water treatment of these rivers has great significance. According to the features of Hongqi River, biological contact oxidation process was used in this study. New-type biological packing was used as bio-film carrier to study the water treatment properties of the packing under two different flow patterns. Two kinds packing were selected to do the static experiment. The dynamic experiment used water pumped from Hongqi River to further investigate the packing's properties. The results show as follows:(1) It has better water treatment in dynamic experiment. In dynamic experiment the average removal percentages of each determinated index for Total N(TN), Total P(TP), NH4+-N, NO3--N, NO2--N and PO43- are 53.28%,83.50%,69.07%, 47.58%,70.28%, and 84.88%, respectively. The rate of bio-film culturing is 453.01 nmol/(g·d-1).(2) Correlation analysis showed that temperature was significantly correlated with the removal rate of nitrogen and phosphorus. It suggests that temperature is an important environmental factor of microbial growth on the filler wire. The correlation of TP and TN shows that denitrogenation process is synchronized with dephosphorization process. It shows a great significant correlation between NO3-N and NH4+-N. It show a significant correlation respectively between TN and temperature, TN and NH4+-N, TP and temperature, TP and TN. Temperature control is very important in this experiment.(3) The biomass on the packing greatly influences the water purification. The biomass can significantly improve the effect of denitrogenation process. The packing also has good effect of dephosphorization, for this new-type biological packing can effectively block SS in the water.(4) Packing-aquatic plants are excellent combination in water treatment of river. When choosing aquatic plants, local dominant species should be considered first. |
