| Currently, the wire rope has been widely used in many industrial fields. For some industry equipments, steel wire rope can directly affect the reliable operation of the safety in production enterprises, so it has significant economic and social benefits. Based on the comprehensive analysis and discussion of non-destructive testing at home and abroad, this paper is separated by two parts, the simulation and the signal processing.Firstly, a F28 steel wire rope has been established in Solidworks software, imported into the Ansoft software. The model was simplified and divided into 6 different scenarios. With the comparison of the simulation result including no broken wire and single broken wire, the wire rope has magnetic flux leakage in picture of magnetic field B vector and magnetic field H vector. When the sensor is closer to the broken wire, there will be a higher magnetic flux density B changes. When there are more broken wires, there will be more magnetic flux leakage. Finally, with the EMD algorithm in Matlab software, the wire rope defect signals were separated into intrinsic mode functions IMF. In the experimental results, the algorithm can effectively separate the high-frequency noise and signal trends from the original item. |
