Hydrogen is a kind of valuable resource, and it's the by-product of the refinery, essential raw material during processing petroleum, at the same time. In recent years, an increasing number of petroleum products are required at home and abroad, and the rate of sulfur-bearing oil and heavy crude processed by the refinery is climbed quickly, what's the more, sulphur content of petroleum products is limited through legislation in our country and occident, which makes quantity demand of hydrogen rising rapidly in refinery. Therefore, reducing hydrogen gas consumption and operating cost of hydrogen network are the very important question.This paper researches on hydrogen networks of refinery, hydrogen networks of refinery are designed and improved by using the pinch technology. And Based on original hydrogen networks model, operating cost of PSA is added to model, then the model including hydrogen cost, operating cost of compressors, operating cost of PSA, capital costs of convert into every year and value of fuel gas, the nonlinear model are solved by using genetic algorithm.Based on the mathematical foundation of genetic algorithm, astringency of genetic algorithm is analyzed. According to the principle of genetic algorithm, the programs are written, aimed at the program, functions of Sphere and Rastrigrin are tested, the feasibility and stability of the program are verified.Aimed at PSA added into the model, the principle of the adsorb and the adsorbent, the amount of the adsorbent are researched, the factor of hydrogen recovery and the relation between recovery and operating cost, etc are analyzed. Based on the operating parameters of PSA, measures of improving hydrogen recovery are given, and the factors of influencing PSA are analyzed.Improving model is applied in designing hydrogen network of refinery, after the model is optimized, the operating cost of refinery falls by 91.8 millions, and the investment is 20.8665 millions, and the payback time is less than 4 months.
