Nitrogen contamination in ground water exesists all over the word, pollution and controlling of nitrogenous compounds, especially ammonium, nitrate and nitrite, have become common. The existing and accumulation of three nitrogen threaten directly to human health and development. The ammonium will affect ground water quality, thus having an influence on human health; Nitrite will react with the middle-amine and form nitrite amine, which can result tumor disease;Nitrate not only induce diabetes easily, but also do serious harm to the kidney, thus hemolytic anemia can be caused easily. Therefore, understanding the transport and transformation of three nitrogen is meaningful for groundwater pollution control.Adsorption, desorption, nitration and denitrification are important processes of the transport and transformation of three nitrogen. The soil samples used in the experiment were collected from gully, which is located in Wanggou Village of Quliang Township,40km far away from the east of Xinmi Countryside in the southwest of Zhengzhou.Studies on characteristics of three nitrogen adsorption, desorption, nitration and denitrification according to temperature and pH established a theorical base for water quality of thermal water source in Kaifeng Depression.Through the earth-pillar experiment, three nitrogen transport were studied under. two different temperature conditions.Ammonia transport lasted 33 days, while the process of nitrate transport only 300 minutes.Higher temperature, faster rate of ammonium transport ,but as for nitrate ,the situation is reverse. In short, the indoor leaching experiments will lay a theoretical and practical basis for the real transport of three nitrogen .
