Gas disasters seriously threat and restrict colliery safety production and enhancement of economic efficiency. But to effectively prevent gas disasters, we must first make clear gas distribution rule. The gas is geological, which born in coal seams and exist in the coal seam and its surrounding rock. Its formation conditions,preservation conditions, regularity of distribution are effected by geological tectonic evolution. In China, a significant proportion of the development and utilization of coal resources is influenced by folds, thus fold will inevitably affect gas distribution in coal seam. Gas disasters have happened a lot in development area of fold. A mass of research have shown that fold structure for the coal seam gas occurrence control, changes in the structure of coal and destruction, the coal seam permeability changes, and the mutual influence of folding structures and fault structure, has a extremely vital role.This paper has researched different position of up and down neutral surface and different control of distribution of gas control through effect of neutral surface. the following of anticline neutral surface and the above in syncline neutral surface avail to preserve coal steam gas; the above in anticline neutral surface and the following of syncline neutral surface avail to release coal steam gas. Longitudinal bend fold formed first in the wing-shaped sheets and tectonic coal scales, with the further development of folds, fold wing structural coal flows to construct coal-axis thickening. Fold axis from the longitudinal bending stress, longitudinal stress, longitudinal tensile stress, transverse shear stress, shear stress analysis of longitudinal vertical cross bending under the action of tensile fracture, shear fracture pressure, the pressure of the thrust faults, vertical sheets Fractures, tension-shear fractures and the fracture of the structure of coal, the impact of gas occurrence.
