Polishing process is an important technology for the surface engineering industry. From the 20th century, with the scientific and technological progress, the polishing technology becomes an inseparable process to increase in the level of industrialization, automobiles, machinery and equipment, ships, aviation, aerospace, electronics, light industry products.This paper commissioned by the company, designing and developing an effective magnetic separation equipment for polished steel parts, which is mainly composed by the shell, magnetic roller, demagnetization device, rectangular magnets, lifting platforms, conveyor belts, electrical components and auxiliary components. The main achievement is to meet with the requirement of automatic separation for the steel parts and abrasive polishing.Based on the magnetic theory and movement theory of effective magnetic separation equipment for polished steel parts, this paper analyzed the separation stage of pieces of steel and the abrasive polishing, the rising stage of separating the steel polished pieces of equipment along the rising slope, and the transition stage from the ramp up to the equipment demagnetization stage of the three levels of process, and calculated the separation efficiency of the equipment, which provided several insights into the designing of the entire device from the theoretical perspective.A three-dimensional model of magnetic separation equipment was proposed with PRO / E software to study the virtual assembly of key parts of effective magnetic separation equipment, which can improve work efficiency, enhance the design accuracy, decease in cost, and reduce design components caused by interference moving actions of the electromagnetic sorting device. The key structure shell finite element mode was applied to investigate the effects of thickness and demagnetization on the displacement, stress and strain of the magnetic separation equipment. Through the analysis of the results, the shell optimum structure model of effective magnetic separation equipment for polished steel parts was obtained.Effective-automatic magnetic separation equipment for polished steel parts with abrasive was successfully achieved in this paper, which leads to the potential practical application in future for certain industries. |
