Traditional finishing such as grinding, rolling, honing, finishing wheel polishing and etc can achieve finishing to the general parts. But it is difficult for the parts with blind hole, lumen groove or the parts to process. The method of artificial buffing wastes time and force, and the efficiency is low. For getting precise and good mechanic performance of hole surface, this paper study and develop the hole surface finishing process based on the composite of magnetic field and swirling air stream. Because the swirling air stream plays a leading role and the magnetic plays an assistant role in the process. So the process can also be called magnetic field assisted swirling air stream finishing process (MFASASF)Swirling air stream finishing process can finish parts, but the method can not process the parts which are too long because of the inequality of processing along the direction of axle. The purpose of MFASASF is to overcome the faults, in order to make use of this technology in practice.This dissertation adopted the ways such as theory analysis, experimental measurements and computer simulation and some difficult questions such as the mechanism. The main researches are as follows:1. The paper analyzes the force situation of grits in composite field, the main parameters that affect the effects of MFASASF are gotten. The mechanism of the MFASASF Process is studied from the point of micro-cutting, rolling, collision, and etc.2. Determine the magnetic field intensity range in the pressure of 0.5 MPa-0.7 MPa through ANSYS simulation and experiment method.3. Through the experimental study to several magnetic field device, determine the reasonable experiment device.4. Inspired by MFASASF, obtain a new technology, the method is using grits of non-magnetic grits and magnetic grits machining parts at the same time. Through the experiment proves that this method is feasible.This paper has a deep and systematical study to the MFASASF, determines the scope of the magnetic field strength and the magnetic field device. Through the research and exploration to the process, determine the process can overcome the heterogeneity of the processing.
