Since the discovery of photodegradation of water on TiO2 electrodes under the irradiation of ultraviolet light, semiconductor photocatalysts have seen explosive research. In recent decades, the research has been focused on the improvement of photocatalytic efficiency, the visible light photoactivity and the photocatalysts with dimensions. Metal/non-metal doped semiconductor photocatalysts and composite semiconductor photocatalysts with high photocatalytic efficiency, semiconductor photocatalysts with visible light activity and dimensions have been successfully fabricated.Photocatalytic reaction is kind of surface reaction, so the surface properties of the photocatalysts have a crucial effect on the photoactivity. In addition, the morphology of materials has an important effect on the surface properties. Therefore, semiconductor photocatalysts with unique morphologies preparation has been a key research in recent years. Moreover, an exponential growth of research activities has been seen in nanosicence and nanotechnology in the past decades. New physical and chemical properties emerge when the size of materials becomes smaller and smaller, and down to the nanometer. So micro/nano semiconductor photocatalysts research has become the main direction.Thermoplastic ester elastomer (TPEE) has a very special molecule chains structure. In the TPEE molecule chains, the hard segment and the soft segment coexist. During the annealing process, the hard segments act as the physical force-enduring point. In the current work, electrospun TPEE nanofibers were used as the template, ZnO,Zn-Mn-O,Fe/Co-Ti-O and TiO2 photocatalysts with unique morphologies were successfully prepared, and the corresponding photocatalytic activity were systematically researched.
