This paper first deals with the formation principle of the Multi-Raschel fabric, and according to the three aspects like the fabric formation principles, the tracery transitional form and fabric structure, it systematically classify the Multi-Raschel fabric. Then it introduces the application form of Multi-Raschel fabric, which mainly used on women summer wear including dress shirts, shorts, a bottom, etc.Secondly, it deeply studies the structural design from the layout design, topological design, color design and specification. The pattern design including the pattern category and structural design, and the topological design also divides into pattern permutation and side layout, the colour influence fabric sense effect, the specification influence it's application on close, too. Finally, on the base of fabric analysis and lace new product development, it researches the replica process design and sketch process design of Multi-Raschel fabric, sum up the process design methods and techniques of the Multi-Raschel fabric, and form a set of theory.Personality pattern design, new materials and advanced manufacturing technique are the inexorabletrend to evolve to continual enhance enterprises competitive marketing, and also the inevitable choice for our lace fabric industry to advance. But at present the domestic market lace fabric development is just at the beginning, whether the designer or processer are relatively weak at the lace application areas, and their designconcepts are lack of pertinence, which limit the creation thread of the Multi-Raschel fabric. This paper explore and summarize the structure and process design of the Multi-Raschel fabric, which have a practice direct significance for the new-product development of our Multi-Raschel fabric.
