Gear is an important part of the auto transmission. With the rapid development of modern automobile industry. Improving bearing ability and precision of the precision of the gear is very important. Honing is a new type technology of fashioning gear and widely used in automobile manufacturingHoner has a variety of forms. Manufacturing process of honer is paied close attention in academia. This paper will research on one new type of honer-electroplating CBN honer. Now,the major problem of honer in manufaturing process lies in binding force and homogeneity of super hard material CBN.For the above problems, this paper researched on electroplating CBN honer by additional magnetic field. The main content is listed as follows:(1) At first, study on the principle of honing processing by meshing condition, contact trajectory, no lateral clearance normal mesh, cutting speed of honer.(2)To design honer according to the principle of honing processing. Mainly includes ,Parameter calculation and checking centre distance, crossed axis angle,radial clearance and to make models of honer by 3d design software Pro/E.(3) To research electro-deposition, cathodeexhalation, concentration difference and electrochemical polarization control characteristic.(4) On the basis of the research, to analyse regularity of distribution and magnetic flux density of additional magnetic field in electroplating liquid by the finite element analysis software ANSYS. We find that magnetic field changes under the action of magnetic field Nickel ions can evenly consolidate on surface of honer because the movement of ion is heliciform the state of motion of plating nickel ions. In addition, magnetic field play the role of thinning crystal structure in electroplating CBN honer, because it change the transfer rate of plating solution and reduce polarized reaction. So, this method of additional magnetic field electroplating CBN honer can improve the bonding strength of CBN grits and metal coating. And show, density nickel plating is easily formed on the surface of honer under the action of the magnetic field.(5) CBN grits on the surface hones gear is the machining mechanism of CBN honer. this paper analyses machining mechanism of CBN gear-honing-tool by the finite element analysis software ANSYS. Includes strain level, strain analysis, velocity, accelerates and displacement.Based on the finite element analysis of the grinding operations of abrasive particles. The machining process won't appear serious deformation. The study provides an economical and practical improvement method for the gear-honing-tool manufacturing technology. Additional magnetic field is very useful for improving the binding force of the cladding.
