Mine fire is one of the major disasters that affecting in production safety,It's effective measure to prevent spontaneous combustion that rapidly closure of air leakage channel in mine. closed fire district is also a commonly used method in mine fire. More and more applying of the foam extinguishing agent for the fire prevention and treatment is used in mine. At present,it's to be resolved problem that how to block the air leakage channel and the closed fire zone rapidly and tightly.is article introduced the feature, the parameter,the merit and drawback and the apply condition of this new kind of solid foam,measured the expansion rate of foam and compression strength in different proportion , and found the maximum value of the expansion rate of foam and compression strength. It drew the graph of the expansion rate of foam and compression strength by the origin7.0 and reached the linear relation of each other. This article researched the character of the foam multiple and compression strength of this new kind of fire prevention and block material—solid foam. It afford the reference data for the experimental research of adding inorganic in foam and gas tightness of foam. And it afford the theory evidence for rapidly closure of air leakage channel in mine and closed fire district.
