Lightweight vehicle design and manufacture of modern cars is a major mainstream.Energy saving, environmental protection, safety and comfort is the general trend of development of automobile industry. At present, domestic and foreign cars more competitive. However, the technology and equipment to the German Benteler company is represented by the monopoly of foreign companies, equipment, very expensive (a set of equipment, nearly billion yuan). Therefore, the hot forming part of the price much higher than the price of an ordinary cold forming parts. Currently, only a very small number of leading domestic manufacturers in the high-end cars to purchase this high-intensity stamping parts, can hardly satisfy the needs of the domestic market. In order to meet the face of such brutal and competitive environment, companies must find ways to improve all aspects of vehicle performance. But also in energy saving, safe and comfortable use of new materials and compete more and more intense, so the car body development process requirements are rising. The most important trend is the lightweight car is by reducing the car's own weight, thereby reducing fuel consumption, save energy, and its strategic and economic benefits are obvious. Hot forming of high strength steel (also known as hot technology advantage: the ability to shape the complex strength of up to 1500MPa bearing components; high temperature, the material ductility, good formability and can forming a complex stampings; high temperature molding can eliminate the rebound effect, parts of high precision, forming good quality.Traditional stamping techniques for domestic and foreign scholars have conducted a lot of fruitful research. The same heat treatment for quenching experiments, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, has now accumulated a large amount of research results. High strength steel hot forming technology is the traditional heat treatment techniques and cold stamping technology combines the latest manufacturing technology, and its great prospect has attracted attention of researchers.Use of high strength steel forming strength of hot forming technology can be up to 1500MPa parts.Forming high-strength steel body and chassis parts manufacturers can reduce the body weight, by reducing the wall thickness or cross-section dimensions to reduce weight, to achieve light weight, saving material consumption, but also improve safety.In the current economic downturn as well as the case of the Great Depression, the traditional high-tech industry, environmental transformation is considered to be best able to energize the economy, driving the global economy out of its predicament and re-starting point of recovery, while the hot forming technology for automotive lightweight cutting-edge technology but also high-tech, environmental protection technology for the automotive industry will inject new vitality into the development.The main work includes the following:.1.Designed a U-type hot stamping dies, and through a small furnace heating, the sheet metal forming process in the hot temperature tests.Of the high strength steel 22MnB5 hot forming process in the temperature changes2.Testing of high strength steel in the mold 22MnB5 quenching, water quenching and natural cooling in air cooling under 3 different temperature changes the sheets.3.By tensile test of high strength boron steel 22MnB5 the mechanical properties of the test, obtained the tensile - displacement curve, and calculate the tensile strength, yield strength, strain hardening exponent, anisotropy coefficient after the elongation and other parameters.This study tested the above obtained mechanical properties of high strength steel 22MnB5 parameters, and tested in several different modes of sheet metal quenching temperature changes.For the establishment of a complete production line of hot forming the preparatory work done for the hot forming technology accumulated significant test data.
