Aimed at the production practice of Liaohe super heavy crude oil, analyzed the current recovery law of steam stimulation, and made a comprehensive evaluation for their effectiveness. In order to enhance oil recovery and achieve the highest net present value, the exploitation mechanism of SAGD was studyed. With the analysis of a reservoir block of Liaohe Shuyi reservoir and based on the on-site investigation and numerical simulation studies, SAGD and strengthen SAGD were determined to be technical indication to exploit unconventional heavy crude oil, besides,pilot tests had been carried out to study the specific implementation plan and effectiveness evaluation of SAGD as well as its adaptability. Based on formation parameters construction, construct parameters were optimized and development methods were forecasted by numerical simulation.Conclusion was that in the early stage SAGD should be used to unconventional heavy oil development, in late stage transferred the strengthen SAGD had ideal effect.The results have some guidance to the ultra-conventional heavy oil reservoir. .
