Copier is a kind of important office automation equipment. On the one hand, the copier improves efficiency, on the other hand, it troubles users and manufacturers because of paper stacked and so on. while feeding, the system must control the paper from the department→transfer→paper outlet during this process accurately.The research analyzed the electric control system and presented embedded system design. using ARM chip S3C4510B as the system control chip, it has interface with powerful features and controlling accuracy, and meets the need for paper control system. I designed the minimum basic system, including power supply systems, storage systems and so on based on the chip S3C4510B. Using chip's powerful interface and control accuracy, I designed detection module for paper, hand-feed detection module and other sensors'hardware detection circuit. Based on PWM output characteristics of S3C4510B, I designed the motors'driving circuits for the paper road system, the action of picking up papers is completed by the driving IC L298 and DC motor, the papes'feeding is finished by Pulse Distributor PMM8713 and power amplifier acting on the stepper motor. I made PCB board based on working system's the module circuit. The software's design is based on S3C4510B embedded system programming. I designed the boot code, device's driving and application program.Based on the three pipeline technology of S3C4510B,The whole system has a high operation speed and precision, eliminating the need of introducting various control algorihms.The result indicates that the system can work normally. It fully meets the requirements and basically achieve design small control system with universal controller .
