Study Of SEBS/EPDM,SBS/SBR,SBS/BR Blended Thermoplastic Elastomer

The effect of the ratio of rubber/plastics, Sulfur content, method of sample preparation and vulcanization type on the properties of SEBS/EPDM,SBS/SBR,SBS/BR thermoplastic elsatomer prepared by dynamic vulcanization were discussed, such as mechanical properties at normal atmospheric temperature and high temperature. At the same time, the microstructure characteristics of the thermoplastic elsatomer were analyzed, the connection between structure and properties of SEBS/EPDM,SBS/SBR,SBS/BR was studied. The better properties of the SEBS/EPDM,SBS/SBR,SBS/BR blending thermoplastic elastomer were prepared.The results showed that the SEBS/EPDM blending thermoplastic elastomer with better mechanical properties could be prepared at the rate of SEBS/EPDM greater than 40/60 and sulfur content was 1.8phr. And the SEBS/EPDM blending thermoplastic elastomer with best mechanical properties could be prepared at the 50/50 rate of SEBS/EPDM and sulfur content was 1.8phr.The SBS/SBR blending thermoplastic elastomer with better mechanical properties could be prepared at the rate of SBS/SBR greater than 70/30 and sulfur content was 2phr.The SBS/BR blending thermoplastic elastomer with better mechanical properties could be prepared at the rate of SBS/BR greater than 70/30 and sulfur content was 2phr.
